Scope of Works:
Remove flue from a disused Wood Heater & Investigate a Roof Leak at a home in Thornbury
We initially visited this client in to remove the disused wood heater flue however we found the roof on that section of her house (approx. 80sqm) was in very poor condition. Though repairable she went with our recommendation of a roof replacement to avoid further leaks and costly repairs.
All materials were ordered & ready within 2 days and the renovation booked in for the first sunny July day.
The old roof was roof stripped away and we fitted lengthening insulation underneath the new to keep the family cool in summer and warm in winter.
Customer very happy with the end result especially given that the following night we had torrential rain and of course not a drop went inside her house. Due to our always immaculate site clean up you would never know we were there (except for the beacon of a roof gleaming in the Melbourne sunshine!).
