Preparation & Excavation for new PVC Stormwater Pipes
First, we excavated a narrow trench alongside the house, carefully avoiding the existing hot water service and gas main.
We then laid finely crushed rock (1/4 minus) to give the pipes a solid bed and keep them stable. Then we put in the new 100 mm PVC pipe and connected it to the existing down pipe and storm water outlet.
Finally, we backfilled the trench, cleaned up…and suggested the owner put in a drip system for the thirsty trees.
